Frequently Asked Questions

  • But I don’t have any data?
Data is not necessarily something you are knowingly spending any time, energy, or resources collecting. We work with data which is simply the information that is generated by the day-to-day operations of your business. This may live in invoices, financial statements, payroll reports, customer reports, and more.
  • How much do you charge?
Typically we provide fixed fee pricing for projects (such as creating a Forecast or a Tiered Employee Staffing Model). To provide an accurate fixed fee, we perform an initial assessment on an hourly or fixed fee basis to determine the number of data points, the state of the data, and more.
  • Why isn’t financial reporting enough data?
Financial reports are important, but they do not take into account the entire picture. On the flip side, most data analysis, even if it does not connect directly to the financial statements, affects your business’s financials (especially profitability and cash flow).
  • What is a KPI?
KPIs, or Key Performance Indicators, are metrics which ideally reflect the health of a business at a given point in time (usually monthly or quarterly). Some examples of KPIs are revenue/profit per employee, customer satisfaction, and customer conversion metrics.
